Rent a Dacia Jogger in Iceland

Ready to take that family road trip to Iceland? Then, you’re going to need a rental car that can accommodate all your needs.

While a lot of rental cars are on the smaller side — even the crossovers — that’s not the case with the ultra-roomy Dacia Jogger. This crossover seats seven people and is totally adaptable to fit your needs, so, if you don't need to sit the full seven people, you can fold away and adjust the seating, so you can then carry more luggage. When the crossover is adjusted to seat five, it can also fit three large suitcases and two small suitcases. Need to fit all seven passengers? No worries — you can add a roof box to your rental, to hold all your luggage. Whatever your needs, the Dacia Jogger has you covered.

Because of all this space, renting the Dacia Jogger in Iceland is a great choice for families or large groups of friends. The FWD vehicle provides essential safety features such as cruise control, parking sensors and front airbags — all the things you want to keep you safe when you’re driving in a new-to-you country where you might not know the roads that well.

No matter what season you visit Iceland, you’ll appreciate the features that keep you comfy and/or cosy, including air conditioning, Bluetooth, and USB connection.

The Dacia Jogger runs on gasoline and is a manual. The FWD vehicle is not suitable for driving on Iceland's F-roads, so that’s something to keep in mind as you plan your trip’s itinerary and book the best rental car for it. The Icelandic Highlands and the F-roads that traverse this region of the country are notoriously rugged, with lots of water crossings, gravel roads and more challenges, so if you want to visit the Highlands, you'll need a specific vehicle that can get the job done, like one of our 4x4 vehicles

So, ready to see why the Dacia Jogger was named the Auto Express Family Car of the Year in 2022? Thanks to its spacious interior, comfort, durability, and enjoyable driving experience, this vehicle has become a fast industry favourite — and you can enjoy it all for yourself when you drive the Dacia Jogger in Iceland.

Where can I drive the Dacia Jogger in Iceland?

While the Dacia Jogger isn't suitable for trips into the Icelandic Highlands, this family-friendly car is a great choice for sightseeing at some of Iceland’s best travel hotspots.

The Golden Circle is easily Iceland’s most travelled driving route and you’ll soon see why. Just a short drive from Reykjavik, the Golden Circle can be entirely traversed in just a day, but is best seen over two or three days, so you can really take your time. The main sites along the circle include Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal field and Gullfoss waterfall, and you could easily spend hours at each. There are plenty of Iceland hidden gems to see just slightly off the circle, too.

You can also drive your Dacia Jogger to Iceland's South Coast, likewise a short trip from Reykjavik. The South Coast can be explored over a weekend or week, summer or winter. Depending on when you visit, you'll be able to enjoy different activities, from hiking to waterfalls to glacier climbing.

Additionally, the Dacia Jogger, even for being so roomy, is still compact enough and easy enough to drive that you’ll have no issues driving it around Reykjavik. Just be sure you're familiar with the city’s driving laws and parking laws before you visit.
